SIP was founded in 1999, -as a result for an agreement between a veterinarian and a industrial engineer-, to fulfil the demand for cost information for pig producers.

Faced with what was felt as a necessity of the swine sector, we have developed the MODEL SIP for economic management.

Currently, about one hundred pig farms using the Model SIP: from family farms to large companies. Overall, our customers represent about 15% of the Spanish pig population.

In 2006, we began working outside Spain, and now we have an important presence in Italy and Portugal.

Recently, at the request of some of our customers, we have developed a version of our Model for Dairy cattle farms which we are confident will follow a similar path to pigs.

SIP personnel is comprised of engineers and veterinarians, plus a number of external collaborators.

For a farming background, his career has always been linked to the world of pork production.
